Benjamin was born to Richard and Kathleen Anderson in Richmond, Indiana, where he lived for most of his life. Ben was an entrepreneur and a skilled tradesman. Ben’s greatest accomplishment was his son, Emitt, who was his whole world. He loved Emitt more than words could express.
Ben lit up every room he walked into and was the life of the party. He was known for his captivating personality, smile, and contagious laughter. He would do anything for his friends and family and loved them with his whole heart. He had a way of making those around him, even people he just met, feel known, seen, and loved. Ben made Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior and is now in his eternal home.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Emitt Anderson; girlfriend Kara Felton; parents Richard and Kathleen Anderson; siblings Alissa (Aaron) Stiner, Amanda (Andrew) Tegeler, Bethany (Lee) Masten, Grace (Clay) Broyles, Garrett Anderson; grandparents Larry and Elaine Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Benjamin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
The calling for Ben will be Thursday, March 10, from 4:00-7:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM. The family desires everyone to stay for the memorial service. All are welcome. The calling and service will take place at Stone Valley Church, 3945 Wernle Rd. Richmond, IN 47374. In lieu of flowers Ben’s family requests that memorial donations be given to a 529 College Fund, payable to Kathleen Anderson, being established for Ben’s son Emitt in care of the family or the funeral home.
