Brandon Mullins, 49, of Richmond, Indiana, passed into the presence of Jesus on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, surrounded by his family and friends.
Brandon was a proud nerd and gamer. Computers contributed much to his life, including the opportunity to meet his dear wife, Elizabeth. Brandon owned his own business, Moonbooks Publishing, and he made the dreams of several independent authors come true by publishing their books on Amazon. He was a member of Grace Community Church, having made his profession of faith in Jesus more than 20 years ago. Brandon’s passion was spending time with his wife of nearly 20 years, Elizabeth, and son, Nathan, with whom he shared a love for video games and a very goofy sense of humor. Though he had been unable to see them in them in the past two years because of COVID, Brandon loved and missed his extended family greatly.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and their son, Nathan, both of Richmond; brothers Jim Mullins (Debbie) and Terry Mullins, both of Indianapolis, Dale Mullins (Kathy) of Milltown, and Mike Mullins; sisters Teresa Pearson (Doug), of Bloomington and Janet Mullins of Indianapolis; special friends Kevin Matthew and Angela Sisson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends around the world. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Mullins, father-in-law, Hershel Houk, mother-in-law, Gaytha Houk, and sister-in-law, Pat Houk.
Visitation for Brandon Mullins will be at Community Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow with Pastor Gary Reynolds officiating. At the request of the family, masks must be worn over the nose and mouth and social distancing must be followed at all times.
Brandon had an affinity for Hawaiian shirts and had many in his closet. In his honor, guests are welcome to wear Hawaiian shirts or something in his favorite color, purple.
