RICHMOND, Ind. – Rex A. Jordan Sr., age 65, of Richmond, Indiana, died unexpectedly Friday, February 1, 2019, at his home.
Born September 16, 1953, in Greenville, Ohio, to Arthur and Ruth Bertram Jordan, Rex was a long-time resident of Richmond. He worked as an electrician for Hill Electric. Rex served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid NASCAR fan and really enjoyed riding and working on his Harley Davidson.
Survivors include his daughter, Tabatha Jordan; sons, Rex Jordan Jr., Luke Jordan, Elliot Gaston, and Jack Chafin; grandchildren, Pagan, Wolfgang, Serena, Payne, Sabastian, Kiernan, Lily, Julian, Jiovanna, Kashlyned, Kelvin, Eric, Jax, and Bodie; brothers, Jim (Kathy) Jordan of Richmond, Everett (Linda) Jordan of Illinois, and Bernard (Pam) Jordan of Centerville, Indiana; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carla Fay Gaston Jordan; son, Randy William Jordan; parents; and brothers, Carl and Bill Jordan.
There will be no public visitation and a celebration of life for Rex A. Jordan Sr. will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
