Chris Hunter, 54, of Glenwood passed away late Wednesday evening, November 17, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
One of six children of Henry Clay and Sadie Bernadine Lewis Hunter, Chris was born in Connersville on August 19, 1967. For many years he was self-employed in the automotive repair field.
An avid outdoorsman, Chris enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, four-wheeling, and attending bluegrass music festivals. Chris had an outgoing and loving personality; to know him was to love him.
Survivors include a daughter, Christa (Robert) Anderson of Glenwood; five siblings, Sue Chappelow (Jim Peyton) of Glenwood, Jeanie (Henry) Ladewig of Texas, Marty Hunter of Orange, Lora (Josh) Frasher of Connersville, Crystal (Steve) Pavey of Moscow, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Chris was preceded in death by a daughter, Tabbitha Hunter.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Lovett will officiate. Burial will follow in Laurel North Cemetery.
