Julie C. Rose, age 53, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, October 31, 2021, at home, surrounded by her family.
Born January 10, 1968, in Landsdale, Pennsylvania, to Russell and Kay Shantz O’Brien, Julie lived in Wayne County for many years. She was a florist, she loved being a grandma to Leah, a pet mom to Gunner, Remington, and her cats, being outdoors, working in her flower gardens, fishing, camping, and spending time in the sunshine at the beach.
Survivors include her husband of 9 years, Kevin; children, Taylor Lakes of Centerville, Katie Lakes of Panama City, Florida, Kraig (Rachel) Rose, and Keith (Hannah) Rose of Richmond; granddaughter, Leah Rose; mother, Kay O’Brien; sister, Janice Deceder of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; brother, Eric O’Brien of Pottstown; best friend, Amy Amburgey; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation for Julie Carol Rose will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Mick Miller officiating. Burial will be in West Grove Cemetery.
