Janice A. (Longworth) Moore, age 77, passed peacefully at Reid Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Born in Middlesboro, KY, to Wilburn and Leona Longworth, she was the eldest of four children. She resided in Richmond, Indiana, most of her life.
She worked for various employers (Cox’s Supermarket, Blue Note Restaurant, Avco, and Wayne Works) before spending the final 26 years of her career owning and operating the Tally Ho Pub. Janice enjoyed true crime and horror novels, gardening, crocheting, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored.
Left to cherish her memory are husband, Ronald J. Moore, with whom she shared more than 60 years of marriage; children, Marty Moore of Richmond, IN, Tammy Moore of Tampa Bay, FL, Jeff Moore of Port Richey, FL; uncle Arden Chaney; brothers Denny (Gloria) Longworth of Newberry, FL, and Jerry (Elaine) Longworth of Richmond, IN; sister Sharon Cain of West Palm Beach; brother-in-law David Moore of Williamsburg, IN; her grandchildren Jacob (Andrea) Moore of Indianapolis, IN, Zachary Van Winkle of Louisville, KY, Cody Van Winkle of Indianapolis, IN and Lindsey (Adam) Van Winkle of Los Angeles, CA; great-grandchildren Jacob and Josiah Moore of Indianapolis, IN; nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend Patsy Schwab; and beloved cat, Charlee Ann Moore.

Funeral services will be 1:00 Saturday December 8, 2018 at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Chapel 222 North 10th Street Richmond. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
