Charles A. “Chuck” Winters, 80, of Hagerstown, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Majestic Care of Connersville, where he had recently resided.
He was born in New Castle on September 21, 1940 to Paul and Marguerite (Harcourt) Winters. He served with the US Air Force. Chuck was a member of New Testament Church of Christ and a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. He was an avid golfer and a member of Hartley Hills Country Club. He was a member of Perfect Circle 25 year club and a former member of Hagerstown Jaycees and Hagerstown Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joni Winters; 3 children, Peggy Claar, Rachael Winters and Adam Winters; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Steve Winters and Ted Winters.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM on Saturday, July 24, at Culberson Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 PM.
