Timothy E. Linegar, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, June 22, 2021 at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born on December 8, 1967 in Connersville, the son of J.C. and Nancy Marie (Crandel) Linegar. He graduated from Tri Junior-Senior High School in Straughn in 1986 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1991 from Ball State University. On October 30, 1993 in Muncie, he married Deborah D. Kinghorn at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Timothy worked for New Castle Stainless Plate for over 30 years, starting as an intern from 1988-1991, then worked in production planning, working his way up to becoming part-owner and vice president of operations in the company in 2017. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, New Castle Chamber of Commerce and was an avid supporter of the United Way. Timothy was the hub that connected lots of different people and enjoyed boating on Lake Wawasee, The Indy 500 and all racing. He was devoted to his family and was a loving husband, father and friend.

Surviving are his wife of over 27 years, Deborah D. Linegar of Muncie; one daughter, Addison Linegar (fiancé, Samuel Bales) of Chicago, IL; his parents, J.C. and Nancy Linegar of Bonita Springs, FL; his in-laws, Tom Kinghorn, Sr. (wife, Nancee) of Muncie; one brother-in-law, Tom Kinghorn, Jr. (wife, Nichole) of Muncie; two nephews, Noah Kinghorn of Indianapolis and Samuel Kinghorn of Muncie; grandmother, Constance Moore of Zionsville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his beloved Vizsla, Waylan.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Denise Linegar; grandparents, Ora and Shirly Linegar and Howard and Hazel Crandel.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Chaplain Carey Landry officiating. Cremation will take place following services.

Family and friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary, Washington Street Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021 or one hour prior to services on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Linegar Family Scholarship at Ball State University, 2800 W. Bethel Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304.
