Jackie Ray Caudill Sr., age 72, passed away unexpectedly June 17, 2021.  He was born February 25, 1949, the son of Delmer and MaryLynn Caudill, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Jackie was a lifelong resident of Wayne County and honorably served his country.  He was a truck driver.  He loved fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.  He especially enjoyed hanging out with his nephews: Shaun Collins, Tommy Tout Jr. and Joseph Farmer.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 45 years: Karren Ann Caudill; daughter: Dawnmari Holloway (Joe Jr.); his son from a previous marriage: Jackie Ray Caudill Jr: five grandchildren: Matthew Snyder (Haily Snyder), Kara Holloway (Braden Plunkett), Joe Holloway III (Rachelle Hall), Katlyn Holloway (Derek Nugent) and Kindra Holloway (Dawson Dupont); two great grandchildren: Wren Plunkett and Blayke Holloway; two sisters: Judy Brown (Carl) and Jean Metcalf (Bill Bickel); brother: Del Caudill Jr (Julia); numerous nieces and nephews; uncle: Ralph Caudill (Clovis); two sister-in-law’s: Cindy See (Wade) and Tonya Jennings (Dan); four brother-in-law’s: Miles Smith (Brenda), Tim Miller (Mitzie), Bill Miller (Lori) and David Smith (Janet).

He is preceded in death by his parents.
