Ashley Nicole Jackson, age 32, of Centerville, Indiana, died Friday, June 4, 2021, at Reid Health.
Ashley was born on January 5, 1989, in Richmond, Indiana, to John and Karen Reeves Haney. She graduated from Centerville High School in 2007. Ashley attended Ivy Tech Community College and received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She worked at Meridian Health Services as a behavioral clinician. Ashley loved the beach and traveling. She was very family oriented, and her family was everything to her. Ashley aspired to help children who were less fortunate. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include Chris Jackson of Connersville, Indiana; daughters, Phoebe Hamm and Kyra Jackson, both of Centerville; mother, Karen (Ron) Falls of Linden, North Carolina; grandfathers, Les Haney of Brookville, Ohio, Joe Moore of Centerville, and Charles Reeves of Huber Heights, Ohio; sisters, Lacie Haney (Zack York) of Richmond, Kistina Haney (Quinten Shiverdecker) of Greens Fork, Indiana, and Kali Haney of Linden; brother, Dalton Haney (Terri Dale) of Columbus, Indiana; nephews, Xavier and Ryker Priest and Maeson York, all of Richmond and Lane Haney of Columbus; aunts; uncles; cousins; other extended family; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandmothers, Ruby Haney and Kathy Moore; great-grandparents, Lacy and Inez Nelson; and great-uncle, Kerry Nelson.
Memorial gathering for Ashley Nicole Jackson will be from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at Centerville United Methodist Church, 112 South Morton Avenue, Centerville. Memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at the church with Pastor Ted Chalk officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
