Born May 27, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana, to Billie Jean Galloway, Ron was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. He grew up in Centerville, Indiana, and attended school there. Ron worked as a tile setter/bricklayer for more than 40 years and was the owner of Fultz Ceramic Tile. He was known for the quality of his work and attention to detail. Ron bestowed his knowledge and skill to his son, Shane, and later to his son-in-law, Stacey. Together, they spent many years traveling and laying tile for the International Union of Bricklayers #18, of which Ron was a member. One of his favorite pastimes when traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana, or Cincinnati, Ohio, was pointing out the places where he had installed tile. Ron was a Christian and member of the Unity of Holiness Church in Connersville, Indiana. He had memorized a lot of scripture and enjoyed listening to Christian music with his wife, Teresa. Ron and Teresa, along with their family, spent many summers in Michigan, and many memories were made on Lake Michigan. In his later years, he became Teresa’s caretaker, when she became debilitated from a major stroke. Ron loved spending time with his grandkids, specifically his grandsons, with whom he shared a love of hunting, especially coon hunting, and fishing. They always had fun competing to see who could catch the most fish. Ron also enjoyed gardening and took great pride in helping to provide for others. Although he could be difficult one moment, he could quickly turn around and make you laugh. Our hearts are broken, but knowing that Ron is with Jesus, rejoicing and free of pain, brings us comfort.
