Jeremy Kyle Barber, age 46, a resident of Spiceland, Indiana and formerly of New Castle, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Henry Community Health. He was born May 12, 1974 in New Castle, Indiana and was a son of Frank D. and Vicki Johnson Barber.
Jeremy was a 1992 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and completed a 5-year apprenticeship program with IBEW Electrical Union. He was an electrician and an independent contractor for many years. Jeremy loved activities with his family and loved coaching baseball and softball. He coached the South Henry Stingers Softball, Thunderstruck Softball, and Little League Baseball in New Castle. Jeremy genuinely loved being a part of kid’s lives.
Left to cherish his loving memory include his wife of 26 years, Nicole S. Six Barber; four children, Kylie (husband, Riley) Marlatt, Kenzie (fiancé, Ranzel) Barber, Frank Barber, Kalie Barber; two grandchildren, Mayson and Emberly; parents, Frank and Vicki Barber; mother-in-law, Sharon Six; sister, Sarah (husband, Kelly) Wilson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles. Also, “mans best friend,” Finn survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Burton Barber; grandmother, Georgiane Barber; grandmother, Imogene; uncle, Butch Barber; aunt, Geraldine Birch; father-in-law, Kenneth Six; a friend, Cory Vaughn.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at First Baptist Church Family Life Center 709 South Memorial Drive in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Garden, 38 West, New Castle, Indiana. Visitation will be begin at 4:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020 at First Baptist Church Family Life Center. On-line condolences may be made at www.macerhall.com.
