CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Kurt William Estes, age 43, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
Kurt was born on February 18, 1974, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and was a life-long resident of Wayne County.
He was a 1992 graduate of National Trail High School and attended Earlham College. Kurt worked as a Quality Manager in manufacturing. He enjoyed Ohio State University football and watching the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR. Most of all, Kurt enjoyed being a father to his children.
Survivors include his children, Jordan Estes of Centerville, Indiana, Jacob Estes of Troy, Ohio, and Kennedy Estes of Centerville, Indiana; mother, Peg (Steve) Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana; father, John (Gloria) Estes of Florida; brothers, Joshua Moore of Westfield, Indiana, and Adam (Amanda) Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana; aunt, Cathy Miller of Lafayette, Indiana; niece, Aria Moore; cousins, Candice (Brian) Schuessler of Lafayette, Indiana, and Chad (Ravin) Miller of Columbus, Ohio; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.
The family would like to invite everyone to come and celebrate Kurt’s life from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Brian Schuessler officiating.
