Norma Rodefer Deaton, 87, of Richmond died Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville.
She was born July 10, 1930, in Darke County, Ohio, where she was raised, to Homer and Winnie Radford Daugherty and lived here most of her life.
She was a homemaker and formerly worked for Belden Corporation. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include her six children Norma Jean Sheffer, William E. Rodefer Jr., Frank Rodefer (Carol Andrews), David Rodefer (Carla Humphrey), Carla (Gill) McBride, and Heidi I. Pugh, three step children, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Norma is preceded in death by her first husband William E. Rodefer Sr., her second husband Donald Deaton, one step son, one grandchild, and her brothers and sisters.
There will be no public service or visitation. Services are being handled by Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
