As of Tuesday, April 14, Reid Health has 38 lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 cases and 48 hospitalized patients in containment areas.
Reid has submitted 339 tests for processing.
Because of the lag time in state reported data, Reid Health is sharing with the community its own data. This data will no longer include the number of negative tests results as studies are showing a relatively high “false negative” outcome of testing.
Wayne County now has 19 positive cases, while Fayette County has 20, Henry County has 22, Union County has six, Randolph County has 11 and Franklin County has 74.
As of April 14, Indiana has had 387 deaths and 8,527 positive tests from Indiana State Department of Health and results submitted by private laboratories.
The state’s COVID-19 dashboard has begun including more in-depth information.
For example, as of Tuesday, 74.5% of the state’s ventilators are still available.
Nearly 15 percent (14.9) of ventilators are being used for COVID patients and 10.6% are being used for non-COVID patients.
