Richmond Community Schools is conducting its own school supply drive through Friday, Aug. 7.
RCS officials say their family liaisons ensure donations reach students who truly need assistance.
Items can be delivered or shipped to the district’s administration building, 300 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374.
Most-needed items include No. 2 pencils, crayons, colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, scissors, erasers, pocket folders, three-ring binders, composition books, spiral notebooks, black/blue ink pens, highlighters, pencil pouches, school supply boxes, wired headphones and reusable water bottles.
Financial gifts can be sent throughout the year to the administration building via checks made payable to Richmond Community Schools. A note should indicate the specific program to receive support.
Donors can also give via credit card by calling RCS’ Business Affairs Office at 765-973-3300.
