The Richmond baseball team hosted its long-term North Central Conference rival Muncie Central on Tuesday, April 14.

The Red Devils broke up a 1-1 tie after one inning with 10 runs over the next three innings. The Bearcats scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning before Richmond answered with three runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 14-4 lead and end the game because of the 10-run mercy rule. 

The Red Devils collected eight hits as a team; the Bearcats had five hits. Ja’Riyan Delucio led the Richmond offense with two hits. Quenton Butler had two hits for the Bearcats.
