Harold Dean Frame, 74, of Cambridge City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 8, 1943 in Richmond, a son of the late James Raymond and Julia Doughty Frame.
Harold was a 1961 graduate of Centerville High School and served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He worked as a self-employed building contractor and New Castle Building Commissioner for 11 years, retiring in 2008. Since retiring, he has worked part-time for Trademark Homes in Richmond.
Harold started the Gloryville Children’s Ministry, served in the New Castle Foursquare Church and Dublin Gospel Mission Church where he was instrumental in the building of a new fellowship hall. He was a former member of the Richmond Optimist Club, Wayne County Council and the Indiana Homebuilders Association.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Darlene Frame; son, Michael (wife: Karen) Frame; daughters, Melissa (husband: Eric) Vance and Molly Frame; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Jim (wife: Dee) Moore and Gary (wife: Charlotte) Moore; sisters, Mildred Allen, Mary Jane (husband: Don) Lantz, Jane (husband: John) Darden, Shirley (husband: Jack) Lakes and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Raymond and Julia Frame, he was preceded in death by his biological parents, Walter and Rosa Moore; brothers, Walter Moore Jr., Virgle Moore and Dale Long and sister, Cathy Havens.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 7, 2017 at Dublin Gospel Mission Church 66 Dublin St. Dublin, IN 47335 with Pastor Steve Cox and Pastor Jim Becker officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery Centerville, IN with military honors.
