Defending Tri-Eastern Conference champion Northeastern hosted Tri High in an important TEC game on Friday, Aug. 29, and eventually outscored the Titans 62-49 in a high-scoring game. 

The Titans held a lead at the end of the first quarter before the Knights came back to take a 30-21 halftime lead and then exploded for 32 points in the second half to pull away.

Tri High accumulated 697 all-purpose yards with running backs Masyn Chalfant and Isaiah Dewitt combining to rush for 284 yards. Six different Titans scored in the game.
