Josephine Daniel of Centerville was crowned Wayne County 4-H Fair queen June 14 during a competition at Centerville Senior High School’s auditorium.
Daniel won the honor over five other queen candidates who were judged on their public speaking, ability to converse, poise and personality. Havanna Harris of Richmond was named first alternate, and Josie Retz of Greens Fork was selected second alternate and Miss Congeniality.
Competitions were also conducted for teens, preteens and juniors.
Kamille Johnson of Centerville was crowned in the teen category, with Raynee McDonnell of Fountain City the first alternate.
Arissa Leitner of Richmond was crowned among preteens, with Allie Frame of Richmond the first alternate.
Caroline Sankey of Economy was crowned in the junior category, with Hazel Gutierrez of Lynn the first alternate.
