
The Richmond baseball team proved dominant against Muncie Central with road and home wins over the Bearcats. The Red Devils traveled to Muncie on Tuesday, April 15, and took a 9-0 win. The Red Devils hosted the Bearcats on Wednesday, April 16, and picked up a 10-0 win in a game halted after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
Aiden McWhinney collected four hits in the win on Tuesday while Jamason Hall picked up the win, limiting the Bearcats to only two base hits.
In the game Wednesday, McWhinney was the winning pitcher, only allowing two hits. Malachi Moore paced the Richmond offense, collecting three base hits and driving in three runs. Jayvian Burdette collected two base hits and drove in two runs.
