
The Lincoln Golden Eagles basketball team traveled east on Highway 40 on Friday, Feb. 28, to close out regular-season play against longtime rival Centerville. The Eagles were no match for the Bulldogs, who pulled away midway through the first quarter en route to a 75-46 win. The Bulldogs used a balanced offensive attack to challenge the Lincoln defense, placing four players in double figures, with three other players scoring 7 points or more.
The Bulldogs, who do not have a senior on their roster, were led in scoring by Shea Hollendonner, with 18 points. Ethan Vecera and Jace Hollendonner both scored 11 points and Landyn Keiser scored 10 points.
Aidan Munchel led the Eagles with 14 points and Dustin Lunsford scored 12 points.
