Centerville and Hagerstown will be represented at the IHSAA state finals for girls wrestling on Friday, Jan. 17, at the Corteva Coliseum on the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Abigail Gilbert (Hagerstown) finished third in the 125-pound weight class and will advance to the state finals with a record of 18-1.
Tzuriya Phillips (Centerville) finished fourth in the 115-pound weight class and will advance to the state finals with a record of 19-2.
Other results from the Alexandria-Monroe regional held on Friday, Jan. 10, include:
- Isabella Kelley (Centerville) lost her first match at 100 pounds and ended her season with a record of 6-10.
- Amya James (Richmond) lost her first match at 115 pounds and ended her season with a record of 6-14.
- Breanna Walker (Hagerstown) lost her first match at 120 pounds and ended her season with a record of 13-3.
- Cami Davis (Centerville) went 1-1 on the day at 120 pounds and ended her season with record of 16-5.
- Geneva Sumner (Richmond) lost her first match at 120 pounds at ended her season with a record of 5-10.
- Marlee Wampler (Richmond) lost her first match at 125 pounds and ended her season with a record of 11-8.
- Claire Abbitt (Richmond) lost her first match at 130 pounds and finished her season with a record of 20-4.
- Ambria Tate (Richmond) went 1-1 on the day at 135 pounds and ended her season with a record of 13-9.
- Key’Aysha Golden (Richmond) went 1-1 on the day at 155 pounds and ended her season with a record of 18-6.
- Dashuana Gammage (Richmond) lost her first match at 170 pounds and ended her season with a record of 5-12.
- Reagan Cauley (Centerville) lost her first match at 170 pounds and ended her season with a record of 9-11.
- Shelby Life (Centerville) lost her first match at 190 and ended her season with a record of 20-1.
- Charlie Rinehart (Hagerstown) lost her first match at 235 pounds and ended her season with a record of 18-3.
