The Yorktown Tigers eliminated Richmond from postseason play in a first-round sectional game played Friday, Oct. 25, at Lyboult Field in the first meeting of the two schools on the gridiron. 

The Tigers took a 15-0 lead after one quarter, and then pushed it to 36-0 by halftime to trigger a running clock in the second half. 

The Red Devils were only able to convert one of seven third-down attempts and only accumulated 140 yards of offense, 76 yards passing and 64 yards rushing. The Tigers accumulated 342 yards of offense.
