Mitchell Cary, 57, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
He was born on January 4, 1966, in New Castle, Indiana, a son of Freddy C. and Bonnie (Cook) Cary.
Mitch was in the New Castle Chrysler High School Class of 1983 and later graduated from Amber’s Beauty School in Muncie. He was a licensed hairdresser for over 35 years. For most of those years, he owned and operated Mitch’s Hair Design in New Castle. Mitch truly loved people and visiting with them. He would go the extra mile for his clients, who were really his friends, and would do anything for them, often going to their homes to do their hair when they could no longer get out. Mitch loved art, architecture, and design. He had a very creative eye and was an excellent artist. He loved raising flowers, going antiquing, and attending concerts. Mitch will be sadly missed by his clients, friends, and family.
