The Indiana Football Coaches Association recently announced its selections of senior First-Team All-State players. The elite selections come from across all enrollment classes. There were four seniors named from Wayne County high schools. 

1A: Leyton Berger (Hagerstown), offensive lineman

1A: Isaac Schmitz (Hagerstown), wide receiver

2A: Charles Shaffer (Northeastern), defensive lineman 

2A: Ethan Vecera (Centerville), linebacker*

*All-time leading tackler and all-time leading tackles for loss in Centerville school history

Trent Deloney (Northeastern) was the lone junior named all-state from a Wayne County school. Deloney was selected to the 2A junior all-state team as a defensive back.
