The Hagerstown Tigers, the undefeated regular season Tri-Eastern Conference champions, backed it up by winning the TEC tournament by eight strokes over their nearest competitor on Saturday, May 18, at the Memorial Park Golf Course in New Castle.

In a golf match, five players compete for each team and the four lowest scores are used to calculate the team score. The fifth score is only used to break a tie. The Tigers played so well Saturday that their drop score was an 82.

Brady Moore and Braden Tedder from Centerville shared medalist honors with scores of 73.

Hayden Chalfant from Northeastern, Cooper Engle from Tri High, Gracen Huffman from Tri High and Noah Searcy from Hagerstown were in a four-way tie for third-sixth with a score of 76. Landon Helms from Northeastern and Collin Werking from Hagerstown tied for seventh-eighth with a score of 77. Michael Roberson from Knightstown was ninth with a score of 79. Wade Botkin from Union City, Jake Lieberman from Hagerstown, Carson Whitley from Union County and Drew Williamson from Hagerstown tied for 10th-13th with a score of 80. The 13 were named to the All-Conference team.
