Beth (Widau) Maucere, 56, passed on April 29, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Beth was born on June 20, 1969, to Frank Widau, preceding her in death in 1990, and Wilma (Widau) Murray. She grew up in Richmond, Indiana, and graduated from Richmond High School in 1987. During her time at RHS, Beth was deeply involved in the swim program, where her dedication, perseverance and team spirit helped shape her into a strong, supportive teammate — qualities carried throughout her life.
After high school, Beth proudly served her country, enlisting in the United States Air Force as a medical professional. Following her service, she chose to make her home in Boise, Idaho, where she built a meaningful and vibrant life.
Beth was a devoted mother to her two sons, Griffin and Leo, who were the greatest pride and joy of her life and now reside in Salt Lake City. In 2010, she married her husband, Cary Maucere, with whom she shared a loving and supportive partnership.
In Boise, Beth became a small business owner and a life coach, dedicating herself to helping others grow, heal and find direction. She had a gift for connecting with people and made a lasting impact on many through her compassion, strength and guidance.
Beth is survived by her husband, Cary Maucere; her sons, Griffin and Leo; her brother, Mike of Richmond, Indiana; and her mother, Wilma Murray of New Paris, Ohio.
She will be remembered for her resilience, her caring spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and those whose lives she touched.
A private service will be held with her local friends and family in the Redwoods, a favorite spot for her and a fitting way to close this chapter.
