Donna M. Laurie, 98, of New Castle passed away Monday, June 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born on October 1, 1924, in Henry County to the late Mata Waltz.
Donna worked for Modernfold Corporation, Denton’s Drug Store and was an Avon rep for many years. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi Sorority and served as president of the Women’s Bowling League. Donna and her husband were inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame. An avid reader, she enjoyed her flower garden, crocheting, needle point, fly fishing and camping. Donna also liked watching Lawrence Welk, NASCAR races (especially Jeff Gordon) and loved taking care of her grandchildren. Donna was known for her baking, sense of humor and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
